Adopting Seniors Nutritional Day

Description/Overview
We invited Tara Miltenberger-Registered Dietitian at Cedar Crest College-Community Outreach Program. She spoke to our Seniors in groups of 3 to 4. Tara explained all about nutrition. She asked questions. At the end of Tara adopting each of the Seniors, we handed out certificates of Adoption & they were given a basket of 3 pieces of fruit. Recipes & handouts on nutrition were also given to each Senior. It went very well & our Seniors were more knowledgeable after the program & they enjoyed the program!

The time was approx one week and there were 3 of us Rose O'Brien, Tara Miltenberger, & Maryann Coberly
