Description/Overview
A bi-monthly Saturday afternoon program that runs from April thru November. The center is open from 10 - 4 and offers a small menu of items to purchase such as a sandwich, salad, or dessert. Chips, candy, and pop are also available. A cappunico machine will be available soon. Many activates are available - Movie, puzzles, bingo, Wii, board games, and WiFi.

Time and Manpower
6 hours a Saturday, utilizing an average of 6 volunteers per event.

Flyers, newspaper ads, improvements to the center, and a street sign

Audience Served
We are trying to reach the younger older adult in the community and at this time we are serving our current population, but with improvements in advertising, we are expecting to reach out to our target audience.

Budget/Costs
The program is self sufficient and costs have been covered from sale of the food and bingo proceeds

Impact On Center
The Center in the city program has offered seniors an option to get out of the house during the weekend and if they have never come to the center before, this is a way to introduce them to our programs.

A good volunteer staff is important.
