Growth At Our Center

Description
The Barrett Senior Center started about 3 years ago with about 20 members. Today our attendance is about 30 to 35 in the summer, less in the winter. An exercise class is taught by a former gym teacher; we have special speakers, singers, Bingo. We hold bake sales and rummage sales. In the warm weather, we have picnics, and occasionally dine out.

Target Audience:
Seniors

Organizations Involved:
CAME, and local churches.

Impact:
We continue to grow with more people coming each year.

Problems:

Getting a place and getting started. Thanks to the Barrett Ambulance Corp. for the use of their building.
